Marbling Card 1

Hi Friends

I love making cards and over the past few days I have been enjoying playing with supplies and making cards :) Also, before I go on let me tell you that I am having a crafty giveaway which is open to anyone (international folks are most welcome) you can find all the details here -- I'd be super thrilled if you play along :) the prize will be a 25 USD gift certificate to any store you like.

Now onto the card, this is an A2 size side folding card.

I have used the nail polish marbling technique here with red, pink, blue and grey metallic nail polishes and then die cut the marbled paper with a stitched squares die, to further lend interest to the marbling, I have done die cutting using one of the flower clusters from the Spellbinders Flower bundle die and then inlaid it back in the negative slightly off center so the black shadow can be seen a little, I have used a double sided foam tape to inlay the marbled flower die cuts. This is pasted onto a mat of a black stitched square die cut.

I also did nail polish marbling with some light blue shimmery nail polish and then die cut the marbled paper with the butterfly die which was adhered slightly off the page.

The hugs die cut is from W & W.

1. Iris white, cream and black cardstock 250 gsm
